The International Partnership for Health Informatics Education seeks to promote education through international collaboration of graduate and undergraduate training programs in Medical and Health Informatics.

Established in 1998, the partnership now consists of the universities of Amsterdam (Netherlands), Heidelberg and Heilbronn (Germany), Minneapolis (Minnesota, USA), Salt Lake City (Utah, USA), UMIT(University for Health Informatics and Technology Tyrol, Innsbruck, Austria), and Washington (Seattle, USA).
